I just want to start off by thanking Dr.Weiss and his team at North Florida Stem Cells. I am truly grateful for all your support, professionalism, and care. I flew in from Canada with my son last June. Although i have yet to reply to your emails sharing my sons experience and progress, i promise i will. My son has gained speech through stem cell therapy, i finally have gotten to hear his beautiful voice. He understands so much more, he can answer yes and no questions and request! Although we have fallen off his strict diet, he eats all home-cooked meals and no longer a picky eater! And most importantly, thank you for responding to my text message last this evening Dr. Weiss, you helped me when i had no one else to turn too. My son was in pain today from constipation, and what you recommending helped him tremendously. He fell asleep tonight within 5 minutes 🙏🏻 my eyes are filled with tears, happy tears. God bless you! You will absolutely see us back for round 2Posted on Google Shombree JacksonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. 2 rounds of stem cells with FTM done with Dr.Weiss and it has significantly helped our autistic son.Posted on Google Abelina YadenTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We took our 2.5 year old son, who is nonverbal & recently diagnosed with autism to see Dr. Weiss for a stem cell procedure. It has been only a month since the procedure and we are already seeing some huge improvements in our son. He is listening so much better than before. He is making eye contact, engaging with us, following simple directions like throwing his own diaper away and taking his hamper of dirty clothes to the laundry room! He is even helping me switch the laundry. He seems much more calm and definitely more patient than before the procedure. We can now take him outside without him running off down the street or towards the pond! He stays next to us and holds our hand! He is also trying to say more sounds/words! This is the first round of stem cells and we can’t wait to go back and do a second round! We’re excited to see what the next coming months will bring for our family. Dr. Weiss and his staff are truly amazing.Posted on Google Scott CullumTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Wonderful kind caring Doctors and nurses. Grace stop wetting the bed immediately after the first round of stem cells , her eye contact and social participation improved immensely. She was is now able to take long flights without her previous disruptive behaviour. After the second round, all the above improvements have grown. Her limited speech is clearer now and she talks in context and unprompted. We have started Leucovorin and Planning a third round of Stem Cells for the near future.Posted on Google Sarah NazirTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The entire staff at North Florida Stem Cells is phenomenal. My husband had stem cell injections in both knees and his ankle. Within one week, there was a noticeable reduction in inflammation in his legs. After 1 month, his mobility is much better. We are hopeful for continued improvement and are considering a second injection in about 6 months. We think Dr. Weiss is exceptional and are thankful for his knowledge and his willingness to help children and adults with stem cell therapy.Posted on Google Jones FamilyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dr. Weiss and the team at North Florida Stem Cells Clinic are truly exceptional. From the moment you walk in, you feel cared for, heard, and supported. Dr. Weiss is deeply knowledgeable and compassionate — his dedication to helping patients and families through stem cell therapy is remarkable. His innovative approach, especially in the treatment of autism, offers real hope where traditional options may have fallen short. He takes time to explain every step of the process and genuinely cares about each patient’s progress and well-being. The entire experience has been professional, uplifting, and encouraging. I’m so grateful for Dr. Weiss’s commitment to advancing this life-changing therapy and giving families new possibilities for healing and growth.
We believe patient and parent testimonials are important because healing disease and injury are part of our mission.
Dr. Weiss,
I wanted to give you a 2-month, post-stem cell update on our little guy’s progress. But first, I wanted to give a little background on where he was prior to stem cells. Our son will be turning 6 in August and by most standards would be considered non-verbal. He has been in full time ABA therapy (40 hours a week) since June 2017, and has been receiving in-home speech therapy several hours a week for the past 8 months. During the past 2 years of ABA therapy we have not seen the progress we were hoping for. It seemed like every month during our parent conference, we heard the same thing about good days and bad days but never saw a constant growth or real progression. After extensive research we decided to try stem cell therapy. We were extremely nervous about exploring this option but after our consultation with you, our fears were put to rest.
One of our concerns was how we were going to calm our son down enough to administer the stem cells. Although he fought the process the majority of the time, I have to say you and Deanna were so patient with him and made the process go as smooth as possible. We truly felt you had his best interest in mind the entire time.
Our son received 30 million stem cells on April 11, 2019. We chose to not tell his ABA center, but did inform his Speech Therapist. This was mainly done in an effort to get a real evaluation from his full-time Therapist as to his progress. Almost immediately after he received stem cells his Therapist gave positive daily reports as to how well he did during his sessions. About a week after stem cells his Therapist was extremely excited when we picked him up. She said he put an 11-piece puzzle together unassisted for the first time. Prior to stem cells he required assistance with puzzles. When we had our May parent meeting with the Director, she constantly raved about all the progress they are seeing with him. His center keeps daily progress charts on his activity and for the first time in 2 years we saw a consistent growth. I noticed on each chart his progress stayed consistent starting on April 23, 2019. When we discussed the date, the Director asked if we had done anything different at home to explain all the positive gains they are seeing. We kept our little secret and smiled inside.
In addition to the gains his ABA center is seeing, his Speech Therapist said she is completely sold on stem cells as she has not seen this much progress in such a short period of time. At home, we have seen his peer interaction with his 9-year-old brother grow by leaps and bounds. Prior to stem cells our son would usually play by himself while other activities were going on in the house. He now constantly engages with his brother and plays appropriately with toys and other activities. He will now play catch, bounce balls, shoot a basketball into a kids hoop and plays with his trucks. Our son used to just throw toys against the wall and run away. We have been able to go to restaurants without feeling like we were never going to go out to eat again and even walk around a mall without him running off.
Our son still has a long way to go with his speech, but the gains we have seen in only 2 months are extremely promising. This is hopefully the prayer we have been asking for. We are planning another round of stem cells in the near future and can’t wait to see what is in store for our little guy.
I almost forgot to mention, we have had numerous friends and family who had not seen our son since his stem cells say that he seems like a completely different kid.
Thanks
J.B.
