Patient and parent testimonials on the success of stem cell therapy are important to our mission
We believe patient and parent testimonials are important because healing disease and injury are part of our mission.
Dr. Weiss,
I wanted to give you a 2-month, post-stem cell update on our little guy’s progress. But first, I wanted to give a little background on where he was prior to stem cells. Our son will be turning 6 in August and by most standards would be considered non-verbal. He has been in full time ABA therapy (40 hours a week) since June 2017, and has been receiving in-home speech therapy several hours a week for the past 8 months. During the past 2 years of ABA therapy we have not seen the progress we were hoping for. It seemed like every month during our parent conference, we heard the same thing about good days and bad days but never saw a constant growth or real progression. After extensive research we decided to try stem cell therapy. We were extremely nervous about exploring this option but after our consultation with you, our fears were put to rest.
One of our concerns was how we were going to calm our son down enough to administer the stem cells. Although he fought the process the majority of the time, I have to say you and Deanna were so patient with him and made the process go as smooth as possible. We truly felt you had his best interest in mind the entire time.
Our son received 30 million stem cells on April 11, 2019. We chose to not tell his ABA center, but did inform his Speech Therapist. This was mainly done in an effort to get a real evaluation from his full-time Therapist as to his progress. Almost immediately after he received stem cells his Therapist gave positive daily reports as to how well he did during his sessions. About a week after stem cells his Therapist was extremely excited when we picked him up. She said he put an 11-piece puzzle together unassisted for the first time. Prior to stem cells he required assistance with puzzles. When we had our May parent meeting with the Director, she constantly raved about all the progress they are seeing with him. His center keeps daily progress charts on his activity and for the first time in 2 years we saw a consistent growth. I noticed on each chart his progress stayed consistent starting on April 23, 2019. When we discussed the date, the Director asked if we had done anything different at home to explain all the positive gains they are seeing. We kept our little secret and smiled inside.
In addition to the gains his ABA center is seeing, his Speech Therapist said she is completely sold on stem cells as she has not seen this much progress in such a short period of time. At home, we have seen his peer interaction with his 9-year-old brother grow by leaps and bounds. Prior to stem cells our son would usually play by himself while other activities were going on in the house. He now constantly engages with his brother and plays appropriately with toys and other activities. He will now play catch, bounce balls, shoot a basketball into a kids hoop and plays with his trucks. Our son used to just throw toys against the wall and run away. We have been able to go to restaurants without feeling like we were never going to go out to eat again and even walk around a mall without him running off.
Our son still has a long way to go with his speech, but the gains we have seen in only 2 months are extremely promising. This is hopefully the prayer we have been asking for. We are planning another round of stem cells in the near future and can’t wait to see what is in store for our little guy.
I almost forgot to mention, we have had numerous friends and family who had not seen our son since his stem cells say that he seems like a completely different kid.
Thanks
J.B.

Dr. Weiss and his staff were absolutely amazing, kind and understanding. I haven’t seen any improvements with my son, that I was hoping for. But we are going to do another treatment at the end of the year and hope for the best. Ayesha2025-04-30Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My son Elias has stem cell done at the clinic April 2023 , so it’s been awhile and now I can tell u exactly how his process or lack of it. First of all the staff and Dr. Weiss are absolutely amazing wonderful . Second the whole procedure took an hour from the time we entered the clinic til we left . It was pain free at least that’s what I thought until my son Elias 7 years old and nonverbal autism said his first word after the procedure “pain” I felt sad for his pain and happy for his first real word . He has improved dramatically since then he talks a lot even sentences , his eye contact is amazing he can read and write so much more then I can write I have recommended Dr Weiss to many of the friends they have seem their kids improve all, one of my friends brought two kids tether have been thriving . I’m differently coming back just the cost is too much for my family right now . I hope this helps any mom or dad considering this for their children. It does help and Dr Weiss is great . We took our son to see Dr. Weiss and his staff just over a month ago for stem cell treatment. Dr. Weiss was very responsive to our questions during the consultation, although we didn’t have a lot of questions during to his social media presence. He has lots of information and his website and other social media platforms such as TikTok and Youtube. I highly recommend any parent to watch some of his interviews on YouTube before having a consultation call with him so you can educate yourself. Dr. Weiss and his staff treated our son like he was their own during the treatment. I could see the care for his wellbeing during the treatment and that gave us affirmation for making the correct choice to see Dr. Weiss. I believe Dr. Weiss will be the face of stem cell treatment for children with autism. We plan on going back for a 2nd treatment, if needed. They understand how stressful and worrying procedure can be. They treated our son and family with kindness and understanding. The procedure was so straightforward. The day after the stem cells our son went to a water park for the first time. He tolerated everything which he has never done. We couldn’t get him off the slide, he loved it so much. He held his sisters hand for the first time. He is approximating words so much more. This is just the start, we will be back. Stem cells are the future Mesa Whitehurst2025-02-24Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dr. Weiss and team were great. There isn't a lot of clear information on "real" stem cells. I got treated with stem cells to recover faster from a radical prostatectomy (prostate removal). I had these stems cells done via IV (3.5 vials). Only time will tell as nerves take a long time to heal. I also had a 1/2 vial injected directly into my knee as I had (old man knee...I'm 48) and within two weeks my knee felt way better and now six weeks post injection I have no pain / swelling. Dr. Weiss is in it for the right reasons and I absolutely recommend him. Emily Raybould2025-02-21Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We went to see Dr. Weiss and his team in early November 2024. We have tried everything under the sun it seems like to help our 3 year old daughter. We absolutely saw changes in December and January. Cali has been parroting a lot of what we say and ask her to say, her speech is much more clear than before. The overall process was extremely easy and we plan to do another round in the future! Richie Haik2025-02-20Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our 7 year old son is nonverbal, level 3 autistic. We went to Dr. Weiss about one month ago for the stem cell therapy. Everything went very smoothly and Dr. Weiss was kind and made sure we had all questions answered. We never felt rushed and it went well. We saw a slight uptick in emotional behavior shortly after the treatment. Just some crying and sadness at times when he didn’t get his way. He also didn’t sleep well for a few weeks after. But that’s seemingly over now and we’ve seen an increase in verbalization and sounds—no words yet really but many more sounds and made with intention. He’s also been engaging much more with his sister and even playing some with her. He’s been extremely happy and we attribute a lot of the increased “good” behaviors to the stem cells. Time will tell on the long term gains, but we’re very happy with our decision to get the therapy here. Summer Suzie2025-02-16Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’d like to share that since receiving Stem Cell Therapy with Doctor Weiss we have seen significant improvements in our Autistic son. He is more calm and responsive than he was before and we can’t thank this team enough for what they’ve done for our family. They were ready and prepared from the second we walked in the door, everyone from the front desk to the nursing staff were incredibly supportive, kind and patient with us. I will be going back again for additional treatments. I have told everyone I know about this office with the hopes other families can experience what we have. I'm a month out from stem cell treatment and remain hopeful that I will see a significant reduction in pain over time. Future lab results will reveal changes regarding autoimmune issues. I'm sleeping better and have more energy than I've had in ages.
